Brisbane Water Oyster Festival

Where can you get the freshest oysters direct from local growers and chat with the same local farmers about the oysters, farming and the environment? At the Brisbane Water Oyster Festival!

The Brisbane Water Oyster Festival is a unique but incredible local event hosted at Lions Park in Woy Woy on Sunday, 10 November 2024. Going into the 21st year of the event, Lions Park will come alive with stalls boasting amazing food, incredible crafts, live music and of course -  all the freshest seafood (hero’ing oysters!).

There will be great live music as well as the famous ‘How many oysters can you eat in 30 seconds’ happening on stage throughout the day (winner takes home a trophy, prize and some epic bragging rights).

The Brisbane Water Oyster Festival showcases an integral part of the Central Coast economy, and shows off a special part of our region. With support from local businesses and the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, it would be ’shellfish’ to deny yourself the experience of attending this great local event!

Don’t miss out on the chance to learn more about oysters and their importance in the ecosystem - as well as how they taste so good!
