For those who wish to visit the Central Coast via the Northern Beaches of Sydney, be sure to take the picturesque Palm Beach Ferry Service and load your bicycle to the back of the ferry (surcharge may apply).

The Central Coast Ferry Service operates 7 days a week (except Christmas & Boxing Day) between Woy Woy - Saratoga - Davistown - Empire Bay and provides a service to Davistown RSL. The historic Cockatoo Ferry operates between Woy Woy - Saratoga - Hardys Bay - Wagstaff - Ettalong. 

Public toilets & accessible facilities

There are many public amenities across the Central Coast region, including in public parks, reserves, beaches and popular tourist sites.

To find a public toilet near you, either use Google Maps to search 'public toilets near me' keywords, or take a look at the National Public Toilet Map for a list of public toilets in your area.

Accessing Council public toilets

Council-managed public toilets, including accessible restrooms, are open for use during daylight hours and locked from sunset to sunrise. You can find a list of Council’s accessible and non-accessible public toilets by searching the National Public Toilet Map or calling 1800 990 646.

The National Public Toilet Map is also available as a free app for iPhone and for Android phones and tablets.

Accessible adult change facilities

Council has installed three Accessible Adult Change Facilities (or 'changing places' ), located at the Central Coast Visitor Centre (The Entrance), within Sun Valley Playspace (Green Point), and for patrons of Gosford Olympic Pool.

Changing Places are accessed with a Master Locksmith Access Key (MLAK) that fits into specially designed locks, allowing 24-hour access to public amenities for people with a disability. To find out more, contact your local locksmith, the Master Locksmith's Association on 1800 810 698 or Spinal Cord Injuries Australia on 1800 819 775.
