Fibre Arts Shed

Welcome to Fibre Arts Shed! We are Clare and Paul Thornley, and we source only the highest quality wool, alpaca, silk and luxury fibres and tools for craft and fibre arts projects. We offer a wide range of beautiful undyed yarns, wool for spinning and felting, shawl sticks and pins and tools for craft, including the Amy Oxford Rug Punch Needles.

Working with local Central Coast wool growers and alpaca breeders, we are especially proud of our FAST Fibre collection: https://www.fibreartsshed.com.au/collections/fast-fibre These fibres are fully-traceable to the farm, and in some cases to the individual animal. We process, mill and dyes these fibres in our shed at Jilliby in the Central Coast hinterland.

We are also crafters - Clare spins yarn and knits and crochets and Paul is a weaver. We have a collection of items available, including scarves, cowls, bags and pouches and handspun yarn. Many of these items are made from wool and alpaca fibres from the Central Coast.
