Moobi Burgers, Berkeley Vale

A bit of a delicious enigma this butcher turned master burger creator, Moobi Burgers takes making burger patties to a whole new level. With their knowledge in dry ageing meat and getting a top-quality cut, their burgers are prepared with a delicious difference. From Wagyu Truffle Cheeseburger to their Crunchy Chicken burger, your tastebuds will be tantalised.

Lakedge Takeaway (Eddie's Kitchen), Berkeley Vale

Eddie's Kitchen has been around a while on the Central Coast's burger scene, and always has delicious classic, homemade burgers and chips. If it’s your first time, their works burger is worth a try, a classic burger with the usual suspects lettuce, tomato, onion, beetroot, cheese, bacon, egg and a good ol' slice of pineapple.

Mumma’s Burgers & Takeaway, Berkeley Vale

Mumma's Burgers & Takeaway are the place to go for the traditional 'the works', grilled chicken or crispy chicken burger. Named in honour of the owners' mother, this location is your nostalgic Australian takeaway shop.

Friday Fat Burgers, Blackwall

One of the newer burger spots on the coast Friday Fat Burgers make tantalising and juicy creations. Offering some traditional American style burgers with a double or triple cheeseburger, American burger and spicy chicken burger. If you're feeling a little extra hungry their loaded fries are seriously loaded.

Booker Bay Café & General Store, Booker Bay

The Booker Bay Café & General Store is a little hidden gem on the coast with history, being heritage listed as one of Australia's oldest operating 'corner stores'. With such a long operating history it's no wonder their burgers are recommended by the locals. An old school takeaway shop with all the traditional items along with some delicious burgers. 

Matt’s Diner, Lake Munmorah

A popular one with the locals is this 1950s American diner theme takeaway shop. Matt's Diner offers all of the traditional takeaway items and have an extensive burger list for tastes of all kinds. A popular option is the Southern Fried Chicken Burger or the classic American Cheeseburger.

Hawkesbury Brewing Co, Lisarow

This one took us by surprise, one of our local breweries are known for something other than crafting a delicious beverage. Hawkesbury Brewing Co are also known for some seriously tasty burgers, from the single mash to the drool inspiring BBQ bacon smash, surely to be a crowd favourite.

Chop ‘n’ Grind, Terrigal

Burgers with an ocean front view, need we say more? Chop 'n' Grind are situated on the esplanade in Terrigal right across from Terrigal Beach. If the views weren't enough, their burger menu is no joke. With over 20 different burgers to choose from you're certain to find a burger for you. They even boast three different vegetarian burger options.

Luxburgs, The Entrance

Another new burger joint on the coast Luxburgs brings the best quality burgers and service to The Entrance. With fresh ingredients like wagyu beef, panko crumbed chicken breast, fresh salads and a one of the best places that cater to those coeliac (GF) customers, with their gluten-free options prepared in a coeliac safe practice. Not to mention their burgers are pure culinary satisfaction.

Hart & Soul Bar and Grill, Toukley

One not to be missed Hart & Soul Bar and Grill champion Australian cuisine paired with live music in Toukley. Their burgers are a symphony of flavours with options of beef, brisket or chicken, your mouth will be watering until the last bite.

Snoop Burgers, Toukley

A popular brightly coloured and quaint takeaway on the 'main' road in Toukley. Snoop Burgers the sibling to Rise Mofo offer a range of delicious takeaway foods, coffee and of course burgers! These burgers are to die for, the 'Biggie' burger comes with maple bacon, American cheddar, their signature white slaw, southwest Chipotle sauce on a soft milk bun, with your choice of Premium Wagyu Beef, Snoop Fried Halloumi, or Snoop Fried Field-Raised Hormone-Free chicken.

Sal & Co, Wamberal

If you're heading towards Terrigal pick up a juicy burger from Sal & Co for your ocean view. Your tastebuds won't be disappointed once they discover the flavours from one of their scrumptious beef, chicken or vegetarian burgers.

KCKN CHKN, West Gosford

If you're on the home stretch through West Gosford be sure to stop at KCKN CHKN for crunchy, golden fried chicken that is perfectly spiced and a sauce combo that brings the burger, and your tastebuds to life.

BMX Burgers, Umina Beach

BMX Burgers in Umina Beach is a crowd favourite and for the most part offer the traditional burger flavours from cheeseburgers, pork burgers, to the vegan seagal. Sometimes they get a little creative, like the new special Mi Goreng Burger, filled with fried chicken, Mi Goreng noodles, pickled veg, fried egg, and Jimmy's satay mayo. Will you try it?
