Big Little Brewing - Live and Local

Between 6:30-9pm, listen to live music from local musicians at Big Little Brewing.

About the artists

6:30pm: Lujza

Lujza is an emerging artist from the east coast of Australia. Fusing old school soul with fresh beats, Lujza is focused on telling her story her way. Her debut album 'Caught Up' brings us the love story from beginning to the end. From falling head over heels in love to the depth of heartbreak. Influenced by old school greats such as Etta James, Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding and contemporary artists such as Joss Stone, Alicia Keys and Amy Winehouse, Lujza is here to go deep and very personal. With powerful lyrics and haunting melodies, she has recently written several songs for the short film 'Consequences' available on an EP by the same name. Her sound has been compared to soul greats like Jill Scott and Beverley Knight. Lujza bends her genres in accordance with the story to include Soul, R&B, Alternative Pop and 80's synth. Lujza is currently working on her sophomore album.

8pm: Taya Chani

Taya Chani is a singer, guitarist and songwriter born and raised in Sydney, Australia.

A soul singer who travels easily through many genres… she loves every destination within her musical landscape.

A chameleon Queen – fermented in the richness of Blues, infused with Americana, Country and Soul, spiced with Funk and R’N’B, with a love for Jazz. She was also raised with an ever-present influence of Pop and Rock’n’Roll.

With a soul-soothing voice, Taya delivers a genuine and comforting presence that will dig deep. She is also a solid, dynamic, and rhythmic guitar player.

Her solo shows are intimate and raw, revealing a soft vulnerability that leads you to believe that Taya is singing directly to you.

The story changes altogether when Taya fronts a full lineup of musicians. Her showmanship and strength in dynamically leading a band shines through, whilst her powerful yet silky pipes are the highlight of the show.
