Ruby Archer is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from the NSW Central Coast who creates jazzy, funky rock with feminist undertones and husky vocals.
Her debut EP chamomile tea attracted several song writing awards and after putting together a band of like-minded musicians, Ruby and the Groovy Doobies won first prize in YouthRock2022.
Ruby won the 15 Years of triple j's Unearthed High Competition and the chance to perform with her GroovyDoobies at Vivid Sydney. She was included in the 2023 triple J Unearthed High Year book as the artist “most likely to invent an entirely new chord”and was also featured in the half hour documentary Music Central (ABC Compass) about the power of music to create connection and healing on the NSW Central Coast. Ruby took out the Youth Category at the Australian Songwriters Association Song Writing Awards for her single New Dream.
Ruby’s debut album Oh So Tender, showcases her diverse song writing abilities.

Ivona Rose is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who wields her signature Autoharp, Piano and Ukulele in accompaniment. Her debut album "So Modern" earned critical acclaim and was awarded Sydney Morning Herald Album of The Week, with national airplay on ABC Radio, 2SER, Radio National and independent stations. Winner - Songs on Stage Songwriters and Performers, Music Oz Awards finalist.

Live and Local is a free music discovery trail held on Friday 1st November and Saturday 2nd November 2024, as part of Gossy Weekender, where visitors can experience newfound artists’ sounds in venues throughout Gosford CBD.
Wander the streets of Gosford and experience live music echoing around every corner, from coffee-shop courtyards, lively laneways, bespoke bars, enchanting churches, bustling breweries, and everything in between.
Head to Gosford from 5pm on Friday, or from 10am on Saturday to experience 40+ musicians and bands playing across multiple venues showcasing regional and local talent, there's something for everyone!
Live and Local is presented by Central Coast Council and Destination Central Coast in partnership with Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, and in collaboration with local partners Central Coast Music & Arts (CCMA) and Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD).
