Bateau Bay Beach
Charming and beautiful, Bateau Bay is a popular destination on the Central Coast of NSW for swimming, snorkelling, fishing, bushwalking, hang-gliding and whale watching. Pack your swimmers and a towel and make your way to Bateau Bay Beach, a lovely sandy strip between two headlands.
The beach is in the southern section of Wyrrabalong National Park, a picturesque wilderness with walking tracks, gorgeous beaches and picnic areas. In the park is one of the prettiest walks on the Central Coast, The Coast walking track from the Bateau Bay Beach picnic area to Forresters Beach.
Along the trail is Crackneck Point lookout, a vantage point for spotting humpback whales on their annual migration between May and November. Soak up stunning views too of The Entrance, Tuggerah Lake and beyond. Watch surfers carve the waves rolling onto Shelly Beach.
PLEASE NOTE: Bateau Bay Beach is not patrolled by lifeguards
