Great Southern Nights in association with Funhaus Factory & Blues on the Mountain presents Blues @ the Haus
Great Southern Nights 2025 takes place from 21 March – 6 April 2025 featuring 300+ gigs across Sydney & New South Wales.
Two beloved Coastie creative powerhouses unite as Funhaus Factory and Blues on the Mountain launch their “Blues at the Haus” season with a bang—featuring the electrifying Genevieve Chadwick Band and Woody McClean!
GENEVIEVE CHADWICK BAND
One of Australia’s finest female Blues and Roots artists, Genevieve Chadwick has been described as the love child of John Lee Hooker and Janis Joplin, her incredible voice and musicianship seeing her perform at the most coveted Blues and Roots festivals, including Byron Bay Bluesfest, as well as touring internationally and playing alongside legendary acts such as Joan Armatrading, Beth Hart and Allen Stone.
This comes as little surprise when you hear her powerful, soulful voice and spirit-Lifting, kinetic guitar-work. Chadwick writes with directness of intent – unadulterated Roots rock with blues and Americana influences, void of bells and whistles. The musician’s albums are songbooks that shift between big dynamic showstoppers and Intimate, stirring balladry.
With a brand new album and a passion for bringing her music to the people at grassroots venues, don’t miss the Genevieve Chadwick Band when they headline the inaugural Blues @ the Haus, at The Fun Haus Factory Gosford on Sunday the 23rd of March
“Genevieve Chadwick could easily be as big as John Butler. She looks like an angel, roars like a lion, and plays guitar like a demon.” – Cath Butler, Editor of the Groove, BASEQ.
WOODIE MCCLEAN
Woodie will be kicking off the Sunday vibes in support.
Central Coast musician, Woodie McClean brings a swag full of original tunes and stories that are immersed in a rich paddock of Soul, Jazz, Blues ‘n’ Roots, Country Rock and Americana. With a warm resonance between artist and audience, at The Fun Haus Factory Gosford.
