Destination Central Coast has launched its 3 year marketing strategy for 2023-2026. The strategy is designed to pivot from recovery to sustainable growth by amplifying the Destination Central Coast brand through the new 3 year implementation plan to increase visitation and drive yield in region.  

With this includes upskilling and product development opportunities for tourism businesses that are designed to create a resilient and visitor ready industry across the Central Coast.  

There are lots of exciting opportunities for Industry. Take a look and be sure to register your interest to participate.

Host an Industry Famil

Famils allow people to understand your product by experiencing it first-hand. These industry famils will aim to increase knowledge of frontline staff who interact with visitors to the Central Coast to on-sell or promote your product. The program will run from Feb to June 2025. 

If you are interested in being part of a famil program, please register to receive an Expression of Interest Form to submit an application.

Digital Deep Dive (Round 3)

Fully subsidised learning opportunity for eligible tourism operators to participate in Round 2 of the Digital Deep Dive program delivered by TALK Agency. This training and mentoring initiative equips operators with digital marketing knowledge and skills to help grow their businesses.  

The program will take place over May to September and businesses can submit their interest to receive an Expression of Interest Form to apply for this fully subsidised program.

Tourism Excellence Program

The Central Coast Tourism Excellence Program (CCTEP) will cover the creation of selling and delivering exceptional tourism experiences that exceed visitor expectations. The CCTEP will be delivered alongside a Tourism Fundamentals Playbook, which boasts practical information for tourism operators to learn (or revisit) the basics of creating, selling and delivering exceptional tourism experiences that exceed visitor expectations and support business goals.  

The program will take place over May to July and businesses can submit their interest to receive an Expression of Interest Form to apply for this fully subsidised program.

EOI OPENING SOON FOR 2025

ATE25 Representation

The Australian Tourism Exchange 2025 (ATE25) will take place at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre between 27 April and 1 May 2025. Destination Central Coast had secured a booth and is now seeking export-ready operators to represent. If wish to apply, you will need to submit an application to be considered.

Premium Experience Design

This self-paced, online course will teach tour operators how to adapt their product or experience for the luxury market which is expected to double in the next 10 years. There are limited places available, and business need to apply via an EOI to be eligible to access this fully subsidised training.
