Fresh Find #2 - New places to eat & drink
A pasta lover's paradise

With a slogan of ‘Eat Good Pasta, Have A Good Time’, you know the pasta coming out of Rigatoni for Toni’s kitchen is something special. This pop-up pasta shop brings the highest quality pasta to the locals of the Coast, made from locally grown ingredients, and packed with classic Italian flavours, from good ol’ Cacio e Pepe, to a fusion of flavours inspired by the very restaurant he pops up to next. To get a taste of their pasta, keep 1st March free from 5pm as Rigatoni sets up shop at Terrigal’s Legend Coffee shop.

Started by self-taught cook Tristan Fraser, Rigatoni for Toni was born from his life-long love for all things ‘pasta’. Throughout 2020, Fraser started rolling out freshly-made dough for takeaway pasta nights, collaborating with local favourites such as Like Minds at Avoca Beach, Kincumber’s microbrewery Block ‘n Tackle and Bar Toto at Ettalong to use their kitchen as a space to serve out deliciously indulgent pasta. The rest is history, with Rigatoni for Toni bringing fresh flavours and pasta to locals across the Coast. If you want to ‘Eat Good Pasta, Have A Good Time’, don’t forget to pre-book your table at Legends Coffee & Culture at Terrigal on 1st March from 5pm.

Known for her vibrant watercolour paintings containing stunning displays of native flora and fauna across Australia, Debra takes inspiration from her natural surroundings. From the waratahs dotted along Patonga, to the banksias that line our coastal walks across the region, her art captures the beauty of these native flowers that call the Central Coast home.

Every Thursday until 27 March, discover the medium of watercolour as Debra holds a series of watercolour painting workshops to teach watercolour painting techniques and theory to up and coming artists or beginners looking to have a go at painting. See a piece that speaks to you during your visit to the Gallery Container? Take home an original artwork of Debra’s and bring a touch of the Australian bush into your own space.
