While the Autumn seasons are giving way to the cooler Winter months, the Coast is bursting with new things to do, places to stay, restaurants to experience and creators to watch.
Discover four of the freshest things on the Coast this autumn to keep you warm.

It's no secret that the Central Coast is treasure trove waiting to be explored. With the cooler season upon us, the wildlife-rich lakes, lagoons and waterways, five national parks and five state forests with walking and cycle trails are a great alternative to discover away from the beaches. However, the seaside villages dotted with casually-cool dining and al fresco bars offer a wonderful appeal during the cooler months too. Meander into a produce-rich hinterland, the autumn colours are an Instagramers' haven and be sure to seek out a variety of accommodation styles up and down the coast.

And with so much to see and do, there are new natural, culinary, creative and cultural experiences across the region too...where do you start?

We've picked four of the freshest experiences this month to get you started. Get your calendar out and add these ideas for something different on the Central Coast.

Fresh Find #1 - Something new to do
An abundance of nature through a luxury lense

This winter Immerse yourself in a multi-day guided walking trek through the Central Coast's Bouddi National Park exploring the wilderness by foot and experiencing the beauty of the picturesque coastline.

Each day you’ll be guided through iconic bush trails by the knowledgeable Nicola Billens from Elixir Journeys who will explain the flora and fauna as you trek through the Bouddi peninsula. The trails vary from 4km-10km, with various grades of difficulty that will take you past sandstone plateaus, ancient angophoras and surfaces covered in winter wildflowers. Be stunned with views across to Palm Beach, the Hawkesbury River and Pacific Ocean. Stop off at hidden locations for morning tea, lunch on secluded beaches and swim at remote bays. Bathe in the wellness of forest bathing and mediate with the awe of nature surrounding you.

The signature package includes 3 nights at Bells at Killcare, sustainably crafted dining with food harvested from the onsite vegetable garden, sunset drinks and Yin Yoga sessions.

Celebrate the winter months with nature, see the true beauty of the Central Coast, relax in luxury and eat the produce from paddock to plate. There are only 3 dates, which is anticipated will book out quickly.

Fresh Find #3 - New maker & creator to explore
Perfectly imperfect pottery

Taking in the wholeness of the earth, local ceramist Sara McGregor and owner of Orenda Ceramics, creative stoneware pottery is thoughtfully crafted beauty. Although her process is ever evolving through experimenting, her handmade Mumma and Me kiln fired mug sets and much-loved hand built textured vases and planters are unique pieces of art. Much of her work is inspired by the journey of pregnancy and birth, mediation and healing, resulting in stunning statement pieces, scared keepsakes.

From her home studio in Bateau Bay, Sara runs a number of engaging introductory workshops, learning a variety of techniques to make a 'perfectly imperfect' piece of pottery. Students create their own wares, such as pinch pots and stoneware staples, by hand throwing, moulding and stamping their designs allowing creativity to shine through in each student.  Take a class today and wrap your hands around a mug you made as you sip a hot spiced latte this Autumn!
