Unique Central Coast wedding vendors
Expect the unexpected with these wedding twists
More than just a beautiful place to get married, the Central Coast has ways of making your special day all the more memorable
Wedding Venues
At some weddings they release doves. At Glenworth Valley you can unleash the power of 200 galloping horses after you say I Do. The Running of the Horses is just one of the special moments the team can create along with wedding photos with highland cows and mini music festivals with glamping tents and deluxe villas to spend the night on site.
Tie the knot with the light of your life at the Norah Head Lighthouse where you can have exclusive access to the historic site with sweeping Pacific Ocean views. The winner of a long list of Wedding Industry Awards, at the lighthouse they can take care of your ceremony, reception and accommodation too.
Make a splash at your ceremony by arriving by JetSki, boat or seaplane for a festival by the sea style wedding at Drifters Wharf. The founders of Mumbo Jumbos is behind this waterfront venue where the sound system and bar are primed and ready for a very good time.
Food and Drink
Burnt Honey Bakery are behind some of the Central Coast’s tastiest treats and when it comes to wedding cakes they love to bring on the tiers. Share your dream flavour combination with them and let them work their magic, or choose from existing cakes including a Medovik Torte with burnt honey, dulce de leche and sour cream.
Treat your guests to award winning gelato served out of a vintage 1970s ice cream truck or gelato bike with Mr Goaty. The hand churned cow and goats milk ‘garden to gelato’ flavours include honeycomb and lavender, while espresso martini gelato can be found on the adults only list.
Watch the double takes when guests spot the S’Mores Bar and Marshmallow Buffet at your reception. The Marshmallow Co hand makes light, fluffy and delicious marshmallows in small batches on the Central Coast and can create personalised flavours for your big day as well as wedding favours and bonbonnieres with hand lettered commemorative tags.
And for beautiful bars that can come to you The Wandering Waterhole has two vintage horse floats that have been converted into charming bars, including one that can pour your favourite tap beer, while Memory Lane has Florence, a 1968 Franklin Caravan that now features Guinea Rosewood bench tops and a pressed tin splash back that can add a stylish touch to those celebratory drinks.
Celebrants
Would you rather be married by a big softy romantic in a suit or an edgier character with Wedding Crasher across the back of his leather jacket? On the Central Coast you can choose between two very different personalities in the same celebrant with Marry Me Cupid and Dirty Deeds.
Meanwhile reality TV fans can be married by the same woman who performed all of the weddings on I Do, I Do. Gail Bridgen can help you plan your wedding as well as your vows and will happily dress in any colour or style you’d like to suit your special day.
Creatives
Make your own wedding bands at the Fifth Lane where the team will pour you a drink before carefully guiding you through all of the silversmithing steps to make a one of a kind ring for yourself or your partner. Or design your own and have the professionals bring it to life.
When it comes to capturing your big day the Central Coast has some talented wedding photographers including Carmen Glenn and Jennifer Burch.
And if you love the idea of the smallest, most intimate Central Coast wedding possible we have an elopement photographer too. Under A Treehouse specialises in elopements and weddings for ‘I Don’t Want To be The Same-ers’ and can help you plan a memorable day for two.
