The Bloom Barn Farm

At farmers markets Ivan from The Bloom Barn Farm likes to put surprised smiles on faces by giving away complimentary bouquets. And those smiles keep on coming when he opens their Peats Ridge gates for people to pick their own flowers on a farm where around a million sunflowers are planted in a single year.

Horseshoe Valley Farm

Pack your scissors for a trip to Dooralong where you can walk through rows of flowers snipping your favourites to create your own special floral concoction. Those flowers also make delicious honey and at Horseshoe Valley Farm you can buy pure raw honey from the bees you hung out with in the fields.

The Giving Farm

At The Giving Farm in Jilliby you can pick your own flowers along with organic fruit and vegetables to share the table with them at home. Seasonal flowers include Dutch Iris, tulips, lavender, and sunflowers and while you’re there the kids can see how to milk goats and make honey.

Petal Sisters

Eye catching and mood elevating, the posies created at The Petal Sisters in Kincumber are made every morning with market fresh flowers. They’re so addictive they’ve created the Friday Flower Fix subscription where you can have the latest posy delivered to your door with a hand written note every Friday.

Wildflower Meadow

After 23 years as The Wildflower Place this charming floristry and nursery in Erina changed hands and names in January 2023 to become Wildflower Meadow. The name may have changed but some faces remain the same and visitors can still find bouquets of Australian native flowers made fresh daily, as well as buying their own native plants from tubestock to advanced trees.

PosyBean

You’ve heard of teacup pigs, now meet the teacup posies. At the florist and café PosyBean in Chain Valley Bay you can sip a cup of tea while you watch the florist create a pretty posy in a teacup. Unexpected and oh so pretty these flower treats will brighten any day.

East Coast Wildflowers

They may operate out of Sydney Flower Market in Homebush but the flowers that are snapped up by top stylists and florists are grown on a 20-hectare property in Mangrove Mountain. Around 98% of East Coast Wildflowers varieties are Australian natives and owner Craig Scott has been featured on the ABC’s Gardening Australia sharing his favourites with people at home.
