Central Coast Kids Day Out
Sunday 28 July, Narara
Get ready for the Coast’s biggest family friendly day out with an action packed day of carnival rides, interactive demonstrations, pony rides, petting zoo, circus entertainment, storytime and delicious food! Everyone’s favourite characters will make an appearance including Bluely and little sister Bingo plus Elmo and Cookie Monster. Don’t forget to complete the treasure hunt as you go around the event! There will be a huge range of educational stalls, workshops and more at this years Central Coast Kids Day Out!

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July, Erina Ice Arena, Erina
Watch USA and Canada battle it out on the ice these school holidays. Erina Ice Arena will play host to these incredible teams featuring Pro and ex-NHL ice hockey players. Get your tickets, there are only 4 games (6, 7, 13 and 14 July) so be quick. Now the only question is, who will you be supporting? Team USA or Team Canada?
Run Club
Locations around the Coast
Starting Saturday 6 July, Coastal Barre and Fitness will start a waterfront walk and run along Davistown waterfront. With the Run Club trend growing increasingly popular around the Central Coast, join this one at 8am with friendly likeminded locals for a 3km or 5km morning run. If you located in the north of the Coast, mums with bubs are invited to join the CC Mums Rub Club on every Sunday at 6:30am meeting at the park opposite Albies Coffee at the The Entrance. Saturday 27 July, Avoca Beach Picture Theatre, Avoca
Celebrate a night of jazz, swing, bossa nova and samba at the Avoca Beach Theatre with the Natalie Claire Jazz Band. Tap your foot to tender ballads and upbeat Latin rhythms by Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Nina Somone, Frank Sinatra and more. With all this live music you'll be thirsty! Distillery Botanica will be offering a free gin tasting and selling jazz inspired cocktails using their gins and liquors.
Macy Gray – 25th Anniversary Tour
Wednesday 10 July, The Art House, Wyong
Lap up the nostalgia of Macy Gray’s triple-platinum album in an up-close-and-personal concert at The Art House. This concert is a celebration of the 25th Anniversary since Gray broke into the music scene in 1999 with the release of her debut, triple-platinum album, 'On How Life Is!' Enjoy a wonderful performance with hits across her career. A night not to be missed!

Saturday 13 July, Mustard Seed Small Farm, Glenning Valley
Our local farmers work hard to provide the freshest produce for the region so why not step into their shoes and take a glimpse behind the farm gate. See what it’s like to go behind the scene on a working family where you and your family will have an unforgettable time together at Mustard Seed Farm. Learn about planting seeds and taking cuttings, working on challenges and science experiments, feeding the goats, cuddling the chicks plus harvesting your own fresh veggies to enjoy at dinner! This family farming workshop is an interactive and educational workshop, that the whole family will love.
Paint and skate workshop with Grant Molony
Sunday 14 July, Bay Road Brewing Gosford
Local artist Grant Molony is holding a paint your own skateboard workshop in Gosford this July and word on the street is it is going to the great! Each artist in the workshop will be given their own deck to design and paint will careful guidance from Grant. This workshop is open to families too but if adults prefer to sit in the beer garden with a Bay Rd Brewing fresh brew then that is more than welcome too! Bookings essential.
Beginner’s soy candles and reed diffuser workshop
Saturday 27 July, The Arts Barn, Kariong
If you have always wanted to learn how to make beautiful candles, Aroma Shak are holding a creative workshop at the end of month. Make two soy wax candles, tea light candles and a fragranced oil diffuser that you can decorate with organic flowers and crystals. You will be taken through step by step instructions and guided at each step of the process. This beginner class is ideal for those who no experiences and best part, you get to take home your beautiful creations.
Everlasting Native Flower Wreath workshop

Design and make your own everlasting native flower wreath from a beautiful selection of season flowers and foliage at House of Ellery in Wyong. Gather your besties and enjoy a morning of decorating wreaths with willow, wisteria and grapevine. The creative workshop includes tea and coffee. House of Ellery also have a range of exciting workshops and classes on this July include Fedora hat burning and dried flowers embellishments.

The Makers Studio Central Coast Dress Code: Behind the Seams

Dress Code: Behind the Seams invites you to explore the intricacies of society with the threads that weave our world together. The textiles and printing making show examines the social norms and hidden stories, ‘behind the seams’. As you peel back the layers to unravel the complexities of cultural values and power struggles between genders and expectations, you’ll discover how these intertwine through self expression. Using the rich tapestries of life, the exhibition reflects on the environmental impact fast fashion and clothing has on our society and world.

Children are Stinky is an exciting award-winning children's comedy by Circus Trick Tease. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Book your golden ticket and you'll be in a world of pure imagination! The loveable Roald Dahl’s Charlie and Chocolate Factory open's its mysterious factory to young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners as they embark on a sweet and life changing experience in Wonka's chocolate factory. Coming face to face with nutty squirrels, chocolate waterfalls, the great glass elevator and the curious army of Oompa Loompas, and much loved songs such as Candy Man and Pure Imagination while following their scrumptious journey.
