Popran National Park
Aboriginal Heritage, Wildlife Corridor and Hawkesbury Foreshore
Popran National Park protects rich Aboriginal heritage sites from over 11,000 years ago and is the place to go if you’re a fan of walking, kayaking, mountain biking, horse riding or fishing.
From the earth to the water, wildlife and plants, each of these holds a special place in the hearts of the custodians of this land, and the park proudly protects these places so we can celebrate Aboriginal culture for our future generations.
Boasting 4 kilometres of Hawkesbury River foreshore, you can paddle, swim, fish and bird watch at Popran National Park. You may even be lucky enough to spot a black cockatoo or masked owl.
