The Central Coast community has an amazing range of holiday activity fun on during these school holidays. With activities for the adventure seeker, the creator, baker and gamer, you kids won't be bored these holidays! Many of the events are free and some require a booking to reserve your space. So, without delay, check out the events below in our local libraries, leisure centres, gallery, theatre and community, you will be kept very busy!

Ages 8-12 years. A special program of workshops developing ZINEs. Zines are small self-published booklets filled with drawings, collage and poetry. Zine making is a creative way to share what you are passionate about, and have fun doing it.

Rebecca J. Chaney will be at Lake Haven Library to talk about her children’s adventure novel, ‘Stu and the Sketchy Time Stops,’ and will be running an interactive creative writing workshop where participants create their own adventure story!
Pokemon Drawing | 17 April 2025 | 1-3pm | Gosford Regional Gallery | $30
This super fun and interactive class is great for aspiring Pokémon trainers! We will draw a selection of Pokémon and learn what animals they were inspired by. Students will then get to create their own new species of Pokémon based on animal parts we draw

Join us these school holidays as we celebrate Earth Day by connecting with nature and helping our local environment! We'll be planting trees and enjoying educational workshops, face painting, free sausage sizzle, and kids craft throughout the day.

Mischievous bunnies have been running a muck at the Gallery over Easter in the garden. Create your very own air-dry clay Wrabbit. What cheeky expressions will it display? Add texture, feature details and colour to bring this Wrascal to life.
