Blacksmithing on the Central Coast

Learn the fundamentals of Blacksmithing and make something to take home with you in our Blacksmithing Classes for Beginners.

With no experience needed, our classes are a fun experience for anyone keen to give it a go. Blacksmithing classes are held in our Maker Shed, with a beautiful view of the orchard, plenty of fresh air, and natural lighting.

There are 2 workshops, on offer:

• Become the Maker (5.5 hr course) will give you a detailed introduction into old world blacksmith techniques. Saturdays 9:30am - 3pm with BBQ lunch included
• Beginner Blacksmithing (2.5 hr course) is a shorter introduction course. Sundays at 9:30am - 12

Depending on the course chosen, students will come away having made a number of items such as: Forged Nails, Tulip Hooks, Forged Keyrings, S Hooks, Pineapple Twist Keyring to name a few. Depending on the students progress other items may be able to be made.

Kids 12yrs-17yrs can join the class, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who are booked in the class with them.
