Take 3 for the Sea
Long Jetty-based global movement to reduce plastic pollution and waste in our world
Here on the Central Coast we are lucky to have the beach and the bush right on our doorstep. Wouldn’t it be devastating to find these natural worlds polluted with litter and waste?
Located in Long Jetty, Take 3 for the Sea is leading a global movement that reduces plastic pollution and waste in the environment. Their message is simple: Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or…anywhere, and you have made a difference.
Through education programs in schools, surf clubs and communities around Australia, Take 3 is inspiring participation in simple actions that make a big difference. The #Take3fortheSea campaign has tracked over 100,000 hashtags in 129 countries with the global Take 3 community growing to over 300,000 people around the world.
Take 3’s Office and Sustainability Hub is a collaborative and creative space to host green-thinking events, environmentally-focused community groups and organisations, and a space for individuals to host private and public programs.
Situated in the heart of Long Jetty on The Entrance Road, the Hub is surrounded by a handful of funky cafes and food destinations, pairing culture and convenience for the ultimate sustainability experience.
